Adding Requests in DJ Event Planner

When picking songs, your requests can be split into 6 categories:

Must Plays:

These songs will be played while you are on the dance floor all the way through, choose your top 10 must plays for this category

Play if possible:

This builds your dance time playlist, these songs will likely all be played, but some may be skipped due to time constraints or crowd reactions

Slow Songs:

I recommend choosing meaningful slow songs. First dance songs from your parents or close friends are always a nice touch.

Do Not Play:

These won’t be played, no matter what! You can mention artists or music genres in the comments section of each request so that you can have more than 10 do not plays

Dinner/Cocktail:

these two lists build up your cocktail and dinner lists, You can mention general genres or artists and we will help you pick the songs. Keep in mind in the planning forms there is a separate drop down list of selections, so if you pick specific songs set this drop down to “Other/custom”

Use Youtube Links When Possible

Under any comment section for a song request, feel free to include the Youtube link if it is a specific version or not included in our database. This will ensure you get the exact version of the song you want.

Thanks for reading this article! I hope it helped with adding your requests for your event.
